Mr. Jacques Saboungi

Jacques Saboungi has fifty-three years of experience in banking and Trade Finance he served as a senior advisor  and  manager of Blom Bank worldwide group’s Trade Finance he holds a bachelor’s degree in law and economics from the University of Mellon,Mellon, France in 1973 and a bachelor’s degree In the accountant of Ecole Supérieure in Beirut 1970.Mr.Jacques is a Lecturer at the Union of Arab Banks since 1985, Association of Lebanese Banks since 1980, Association of Tunisian Banks, Institute of Banking Finance,he is an Arbitrator in Trade and Documentary Credit Lawsuits in Courts Lebanese and Emirate and Consultant in Trade & Documentary Credits issues with several banks in the Middle East. He has been a member of the International Chamber of Commerce , Paris since 1974, Union of Arab Banks, Beirut since 1985. He is the author of several books published in the Union of Arab Banks, The latest publications include: Incoterms, The stand by documentary credits , The Special Documentary Credits, The Bank to Bank reimbursments,The Documentary collections ,Special Credits (Back to Back, Transferable etc …) The rules of ISP 98 in Arabic, and various articles dealing with trade finance.
