Mr. George Saab

George Saab is an HR practitioner since 1988. He studied International Affairs at LAU and holds an MBA from L’Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) Lebanon.

He is a former Recruitment Coordinator at Indevco (a regional manufacturing group) then Personnel manager at New Okal – Habitat then HR Manager at Admic Sal (BHV – Monoprix) and a training consultant at the IMTI (International Management Training Institute) Lebanon.

At the operational level, he served as Manager of the Gefinor Center in Beirut, a Business and commercial real estate project.

For 8years, he headed the HR at Chalhoub Group as their CHRO (11000 employees today) where he was entrusted with building the HR function in the region. He then moved to TECOM Investments, a semi-private entity of Dubai Holding.

Today he is the Group HR Mgr of Debbane Saikali group, a regional group in 5 different sectors.

Mr. Saab is a member of the Dubai Human Resources Forum where he served on its Committee and a member of both the SHRM and the HRAL.

Upon forming the ME HR Forum steering committee AUB invited him to be part of it.

Mr. Saab served as well as a member of the advisory committee at American University of Dubai Business school and the advisory board of the Antonine University business school.
